well here's how it was for me:

we got there at 7:30

then went to urgent scare. 10 min wait. it was alright. 7/10

Vortex practically a walk on.

next was death row, the worst in the park. i'm not even kidding, nobody scared you! i congratulated the one and only person who tried but failed miserably. they stood behind a fence and said "where are you going?" blah... and it was a stupid maze that we ended up doing a circle in, and strobe lights and sirens were blaring, so its just a headache. don't waste your time. 0/10

then we went on Firehawk, the longest line in the park...20 min.

the trail of terror...hmmm...well it wasn't the greatest, we kept running into groups and the people scaring kinda sucked. so if your scared of cannibals and hillbillies, then this is a nightmare! 7/10

the we rode The Beast, another short line.

next was redbeard's revenge. about 10 min wait. okay, i'm not scared of pirates or anything, but this was really really good. the actors were hid in the most unexpected places and they were good. 9.5/10

then it was to carnevil. about a 15 min wait. if your scared of clowns, you may have a panic attack. it was pretty good, more entertaining than anything. the 3-D effects were cool. so we walked into this room with all the dots on the walls and there was a person blending in, and we saw her moving, so we were like "hey, i see you!" and she goes "go back out there and i'll do it again, so sure enough, we go back out and come back in and she jumps out of the wall and starts dancing. ??? hahahaha. 7/10

then we rode drop zone walk on. and at the top i saw that club blood had practically no line.

so next up -- club blood. this was tied for first with redbeards revenge. this one was just amped up and energetic...but hilarious all at the same time. drunk, bloody, hungry vampire prostitutes were everywhere along with drug dealers. this one actually made us jump and scream. hit this one up for sure. 9.5/10

then we went to Son of Beast...absolutely nobody. to bad the ride manager people were jerks and wouldn't let us stay on.

it was about 12:30 and we were going to go to massacre manor, but it still had a giant line. it had a huge line all night! so we skipped it.

then we were walking and saw the worksite, so we just walked in that. it wasn't very good. the worst of the 3 fearzones. 5/10

so as we walked out of that, it ended up like right next to cemetery drive. this one was cool. giant tombstones were everywhere so you were looking behind everyone as you passed. and we got the crap scared out of this chick! i swear she was a statue!! it was perfect!!! haha. 8/10

we found the cornstalkers and went through that. it was the middle of the three. alot of people jumped out, but you could see most of them. we got scared good twice. 7/10

last ride of the night, Son of Beast again. once again, walk on. yeah, we were sore after that! haha.

that's my trip to Kings Island's Halloween Haunt 2008. pretty good, I'd say. ;)

I'm really glad you liked Club Blood, tgoinerrr3! We try our best to come up with some good scares and some good laughs at the same time. It's nice to hear good compliments. And I'm always open to hearing criticisms too, that way we know what we can work on.

And I agree, the statues in Cemetary are excellent, as are the others in there. I liked this one better than last year.

Did you seriously say The Worksite was the worst of the scare-zones? Wow... just wow... Oh well, you can have your opinion.

I am glad you liked Club Blood though, the park did a good job with that last year.

yeah, like it was basically a walk through nothing. like it was set up really neat, but i kinda had to start begging them to scare me.

mhm, club blood was really amped up and better than last years.

I found the new ending of The Worksite to be mass improvement over last year. At first I was expecting a chainsaw bearing maniac to come running out of the container at us, but instead, I found ourselves walking into it! Very cool. I also noticed that there weren't any banging-on-metal scares this time, which was nice for the ears.

If someone hadn't explained before; they don't allow re-rides on Son of Beast..well....because it's SoB!!!

i think thats dumb though, i mean, like there was absolutely NOBODY! and we had to walk around.

:/

stupid ride operators.

they let us re-ride on The Beast, but no on SOB. [beast is better anyways. :) ]
