Monroe
"Vegas-style 9 acre theme park"? I am sorry Interp, I know you have a fondness for the north east, but I am getting tired of the "want to be" attitude of a city that HAD IT ALL. That city has slowly thrown it away a little at a time. Next thing you know they will get Disney to develop central park. I think the next time we take a trip up north east, we will just go to Buffalo and the Carousel Factory. http://www.carrouselmuseum.org/

windshawne
I find wonder wheel fascinating. Would like to ride it someday if I ever get back up there.
The Interpreter
It IS fascinating....and for most, quite, quite terrifying. Disney has a very faithful recent rendition of it at California Adventure, too.

I do understand that, I just did not want you to think I was bashing you in any way. I just miss the old Coney board walk, and many, many other attractions in that area of the country that are no longer.
The Interpreter
As do I. Perhaps most of all, I miss the candy store/soda shop in the subway station across the street. Yes, I know they moved. No, it isn't the same. And never will be. And I know you weren't bashing me! I also know if you were, I'd know! Friends can do that, you know! Monroe
^I am some times as curious as George to how many rides we have actually ridden together without knowing.
