January 22, 200917 yr I was just watching Jeopardy, one of the categories was Theme Parks, the Final question (paraphrased) was "In Cinncinati, Kings Island's The Beast is the World's Longest what?" The lady who answered said Roller Coaster - she was given credit as right. I did end up losing full TV control as the channel got flipped on commercials, but I never heard a score correction / answer correction. Though I was proud of my kiddies, they gave the right answer!
January 22, 200917 yr Besides, on Jeopardy, one gets no credit for giving the right answer...one must have the right question!
January 22, 200917 yr Author It was really "Worlds longest wooden (what)?" Was it? I'm an idiot if I missed that, I really didn't catch that in the 'answer'.
January 22, 200917 yr It was really "Worlds longest wooden (what)?" Was it? I'm an idiot if I missed that, I really didn't catch that in the 'answer'. Yeah the answer was "In Cinncinati, Kings Island's The Beast is the World's Longest wooden (this)" Question: What is a Roller coaster?
January 22, 200917 yr Argh! I watch Jeopardy every night but missed last night! Instead we were having dinner with my sister who was just in town for the night, and I got home just in time to only see the Final Jeopardy question. I like to think I would have done well in the theme park category...
January 22, 200917 yr "What is "Ferris Wheel," Alex. Noo. Soory! haha! In a category of themeparks, what else could you possibly be thinking? The worlds longest wooden _______. What else could fill that blank and make sense? It would have been more interesting if they somehow asked what record The Beast held. I could see someone getting that wrong. Especially someone not from Ohio accidentally confusing the Son of Beast.

I agree, it seemed pretty leading - even my missing the wood part, but that even cinched it more. The lady who answered was from Ft. Wayne, IN
