As Ryan has told us KI will be making something new again for the 2009 season. What do you think it will be?

I think thats what they are going to do. It seems fitting seeing how The Beast is turning the big 30.

I think it will have something to do with The Beast, but I'm not so sure that it's the paw prints.

I voted "Null". As much as I would love to see something done with The Beast, the name of this topic is "What do you Think", not what do you Want, which is something I have no knowledge about.

Let's sit back and see what happens.

Uh, Mr. Chef, we already know that several shows from 2008 are returning in 2009. Endless Summer on Ice, County Line, and Flashback: Totally 80`s are all coming back. In addition, there will be a new show in the Festhaus replacing Girl`s Night Out, a new show on the Bandstand replacing Hot Island Rhythms, and a new show in the Nickelodeon Theater replacing Dora`s Sing Along.

G-Trains= the current Son of Beast trains.

If you are refering to the original trains on Beast, they are still on but modified by removing one row. They are Philadelphia Toboggan trains. http://www.philadelphiatoboggancoastersinc.com/

That is pretty outrageous. Speaking of outrageous...I am outraged.

Not really (just thought that was clever), but I'm sensitive about The Racer. I like The Racer. The Racer is my favorite ride at KI. I usually ride The Racer on the blue side. I rode The Racer 105 times last season. I rode Red Racer 55 times and Blue Racer 50 times. The blue side of The Racer was closed later on last season. I have now hopefully said The Racer enough times to see that there is not an s in The Racer!!

I should copy and paste that for the next time I have to point this out.

Flyer, who spends more time at The Beast but prefers the airtime of The Racer, and believes in reality that they are tied for his #1 KI spot.

I'm hoping and thinking it'll be paw prints or something else for The Beast. Don Helbig said they're planning something special for the big guy's anniversary, so that seems appropriate.

With the new design of The Beast putting the Paw prints out is almost a given oh matter what. If they were to do something special for The Beast it would be nice to see the water feature come back in some way as you are heading up into The Beast line. But seeing the priority of theming lately and lack of theming for Diamondback I don't think this will happen.

A new show is what I hope for such as the clown band, they add so much atmosphere. The Nickelodeon parade would be nice but I think we would have heard something by know.

The International restaurant would be great and with them adding new carpet who knows. I think that place would be a wonderful place to get a danish and coffee in the morning or evening.

Re-Painting, possibility, re-painting to original color, not so much.

I could see the paw prints being painted again. Not sure if it will happen though. But honestly I would really like to see some of the coasters get some new paint more than anything.

I whole heartedly agree with you Jasper, I know KI takes pretty good care of their rides, but leaving the paint flaking off the track of Flight Deck just makes it seem like it's being left to rot. :/ I'd love to see the original red or maybe the same kind of red with a hint of orange like Iron Dragon at CP.
