violakat03
and i dont usually understand the whole cell phone video...i mean unless you have a crazy nice cell phone. any cell video ive seen is always such poor quality both in sound and picture that i cant make it more than 30 seconds into the video. and i always hate when im looking at coaster videos on youtube and i have to hear some guy tryin to be all "gangsta" to look cool in front of his friends (its always pretty entertaining when the car drops on the first hill and he screams like a girl though) I hate self-made POVs. I'd rather see a professional POV with a mounted camera than a shaky, horrible quality cell phone video with a gang banger's idiotic comments in the background and showing more of the restraints and floor of the car than of the ride itself. XGatorHead 8904
I've only taken two on-ride videos... both on It's a Small World. The first was of my daughter's reactions during her first WDW visit, and that was only about 20-30 seconds long. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to take it or not, so I was very discreet. The second time was the following year, and I actually got the ride itself. Not the whole thing, but enough that GatorGirl loves watching it. I figured there was no risk of the camera flying out of my hand and hitting the people behind me on that ride! All on-ride photos in my TR's were taken while the rides were not moving. Come to think of it, Mrs. Gator took video of GatorGirl and me on Cinderella's Carousel, while she was also on the ride. So I guess that's three on-ride videos! goofywdw
^I have taken a video of ISAW and the operator right when you are leaving the loading dock is waving down at the guests from the tower and he waved right at my camera. I don't think it really matters on those kind of slow moving rides unless there are classified things or where "flash photography" is banned. raptor
The two on ride video's I have taken are of The Kings Island Train in all it's glory, and the Sky Ride at Cedar Point. Anyone ever see that guy at Stricker's Grove that takes his camera on the Flying Scooters? You know the guy that soars and crashes into the trees. Anyone ever see that guy at Stricker's Grove that takes his camera on the Flying Scooters? You know the guy that soars and crashes into the trees. I have seen the guy, as there are several that are there every public day to ride the Flying Scooters all day. I have been going to ask about taking a POV of The Tornado, but have yet to do so. The Interpreter
The answer will almost certainly be "go right ahead," but DO ask first....and don't expect that answer at most any other park.
