CongoThrills15
I have no idea if this year will be my first trip to Kings Island, but for Kings Dominion my first will either be Grizzly or Action Theater.
Big Red Dice
im going opening day for the first time ever and i must say im "wet my pants" excited...last season was the first year i went in over 5 years and i only got to go once so this year i'll be getting the season pass again and probably going just about every free weekend (or week day if i have the chance) possible you will love the season pass deal, being able to go anytime and not paying over and over just to get in,{besides the initial price of the pass} also last year i went to the food stand by delrium and got a wrist band for the price of $8.99 +tx enjoyed all the free drinks i wanted you figure you use that three times and you got your moneys worth out of it
The Interpreter
If you paid $8.99, why would you think you got drinks free? In my old math head, if you paid $8.99 and tax, then the drinks you consumed cost you a total of $8.99 and tax. Hardly free.
indianapolisman
If you drank like 900 in the coarse of a day though. That would be almost free.
The Interpreter
And if you did, you'd best hope they not have installed pay loos.

indianapolisman
In all seriousness I really won't drink fountian drinks. I often clean ice machines for a living.
The Interpreter
And I haven't drank a carbonated beverage for more than three years now, on the advice of my dentist. Not only have my teeth greatly benefited, but so has my wallet.
indianapolisman
but so has my wallet. About 8.99 a trip to KI
The Interpreter
Actually, no. I was a huge Diet Pepsi fiend. It was rare for me to buy two Diet Cokes at Kings Island. Had it been Diet Pepsi before the wrist bands, I'd easily have bought six or more in a typical day (as I often did at Cedar Point). Now I either drink water or tea from Chick-Fil-A. indianapolisman
tea My favorite too. Like it brewed fresh over clean ice.
TheCryptRaider
The drink prices are crazy! I always get those free glasses of water so I don't end up crashing after my sugar buzzes from soda. I'm perfectly fine with drinking just water, as long as I get hydrated and I'm even more happy because it's FREE!
kiruler102
Correct it is an Elephant Ear and to be honest I can not believe there is someone who has never eaten one or even knows what it is. For the record it is a thin piece of dough that is deep fried then brushed with butter and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. You can find them at the shop called “Worlds Greatest Funnel Cake” #42 on last years map. It is located next to the White Water Canyon entrance and has covered seating to the side. The picture below shows the menu from last years opening day, and all,the items and prices they offered at that time. ITs a good thing you took a picture of that sign next time you see it at the park the price will be even more expensive maybe 8 bucks for a funnel cake and 6 or 7 dollars for an elephant ear. The Interpreter
Nah, they will only go up by a "nickel or so." --Mr. Dick Kinzel, as said last year about food prices in an early year conference call.
