This year, the new ownership plans to explore ways to sell advertising throughout the park in places that never had it before. February 25, 200917 yr Nothing new to the industry, but the author seems a little bitter about it. Just look at the 1972 KI Park Guide: "Sherwin-Williams presents The Eiffel Tower", "Kahn's Sausage Haus", "Rainbo Mini Bakery", "Coca-Cola presents The Salt Water Circus", "Marathon Turnpike" which later became Sunshine Turnpike with numerous ads for Firestone... just to name a few. Then there were the shows in American Heritage Music Hall, "brought to you by Chevrolet, the Heartbeat of America". Not to mention the numerous corporate partners Disney has had, and still has, in its parks.
