Maid of The Mist Monopoly Churns Up Complaints The Globe and Mail

After my recent trip to Niagara Falls, which you can see here (RailRider's Niagara Falls PTR).

I have two thoughts about this article. It is almost impossible to compete with a company that has the tradition and history of the Maid of The Mist and the inherent danger of getting that close to the falls with an unexperienced captain at the helm is asking for disaster.

Also if you visit the Falls you must take a trip on the Maid of the Mist. Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely. Of all the things I have experienced in the amusement field over the years, Maid of the Mist definitely ranks in the top ten, if not the top five. There is no substitute. I am so very glad I took my Mom and Dad there when I could.

I couldn't agree more Terpy. I would say of the different places I have been, things I have seen, and overall experiences. Maid of the Mist is easily in the top 5 for me as well.
