March 26, 200917 yr Judging by the cars in front of it, it can't be much after Big Dipper opened. Just so you know...the fun part isn't even in the picture. The hill behind the sign is the last hill of many ejection seat airtime hills.
March 26, 200917 yr Do you mean under that name? The coaster itself opened as Sky Rocket in 1925. Those are not twenties cars! The Big Dipper name debuted in 1969. Those are also not Sixties cars! It was the Clipper from the late 40's to 1968.

March 26, 200917 yr During WWII, no new cars were produced, so people kept old cars for a very long time. For that reason, I suspect the picture is from the late 40's.
