First Time To Kings Island!

Featured Replies

I'm going to Kings Island for the first time next week. As of right now I'm planning on going on April 25th, a Saturday. However, I might also have the opportunity to go on April 24th, the Friday before. Would this be worth the extra money for the two-day pass? Do you think it would be a lot less crowded on Friday? I was just wondering cause I want to get the most out of this trip as it will probably be one of my only chances to visit the park. Diamondback is also one of my main priorities, so being able to ride that on Friday more easily would probably make the ticket worth it in my book! I'm also looking for any recommendations about the park or tips and secrets that a newcomer like me probably wouldn't know! Thanks!

Yes i would spend the extra money and get a two day pass.

Friday will be less crowded, great time to hit up Diamondback, Firehawk ( tends to be a long line as well) and maybe Flight of Fear. If you like great wooden coasters ride The Racer and The Beast ( 30th birthday this year. so give it some love). you should also check out the Son of Beast if you like rough woodies.

Drop Tower is very fun as well.

I would start out on friday and ride the Diamondback first... Ride whatever else sounds fun, but when it gets dark go and ride The Beast. It is awesome in the dark since it is in the woods. Son of Beast isnt bad either at night.

Hope this helps!!
