Zorba
I went to my prom with an Ex girlfriend, I really wanted to go with someone else but couldn't find a date, so I went with her. It was a lot of fun, I am very glad I went. It was actually the last time I saw a lot of people form high school, which was a good thing for a lot of them . windshawne
Go to the Senior Prom. You have spent 12 long years going to school and putting in all the hard work. While the prom might seem to be a glorified party it is far from the truth. Granted it would mean putting out the dollars for a tux or gown, it is your reward for your time, hard work and effort that you put into going to school. Kings Island will there the next day, next week and even next month, but you only have ONE Senior Prom and if you miss it, it is gone. Go to it and enjoy the memories. I missed my prom because for all things I did not have a date. I wish I could go back in time but it is gone forever. Go to it and have fun. I didn't go to senior prom either, but unlike most I didn't regret it. I went as a junior-but it just isn't my thing.
Mr. Coastermania
more people at the prom might mean fewer people in the park that day.good luck anyways.
markhudson17
I didn't go to either of my proms, and I regret it. I'll never get the oppurtunity again.
BavarianBeatle
I never went to a prom in my life.... And now, because of my job, I attend a formal event once a year!! I know that I didn't miss anything! On my Senior Prom night, my friends and I got the night off from work and went to KI!!!!
trevor75
Prom is a week away so I don't think I have enough time to find a date. But who knows. Stranger things have happened I suppose. Hey blow the prom off I went to mine and the only thing i really remember from it is the next day we all spend it at KI, we were tired as hell but it was one of the best days of my life. So when i think about it we should have just ditched the prom altogether and just spend two days at KI!
The Interpreter
There is absolutely no part of me that regrets not going to high school prom at 17. I had a blast at the one I went to when I was 27, though. I wonder if that would even be allowed now!
rotag
i went to mine my senior year. it was o.k. i took a homeschooled chick and she had a blast even though she was a wallflower. then next day was or post prom trip to Kings Island. which made her first or second trip ever to any amusement park and took her on almost everything in sight. we both had a blast. and thats the veiw from my side of the fence. I don't know how it is with other schools, but my school can't pick and choose who a person brings as a prom date. Regardless of age, they have to be let in as long as they're with a student. But back on topic: I didn't go to my Junior prom. Despite my friends begging me, I don't plan on going to my Senior prom. And I don't think i'll ever regret missing either one of them. I'm not the kind of person that has fun that way, I'd rather spend the night at home with a good book/movie.

Anyways, I don't know what people at my school would think if someone tried it.

I_heart_pki
I think I'm going to prom so now I need to come up with another day to go to KI. Thanks everyone who posted the advice for me. (even if it went from dealing with the crowds to actually going) Haha. The only weekends I have free are the 9-10 and then I go again for the senior trip. Maybe I'll go the day after graduation. That would be fun!

skaterboy22101
Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-What did you say? Say it ain't so skaterboy. This is horrible. I saw it get stuck at the top 3 times and they had to lower it down with the pully. They closed it down for a couple hours but opened it back up. The first ride it was back open got stuck. DT was having quite a bit of problems, so was FoF.
Jasper
Its them darned opening month jitters. Give her some time to get going and she will be thrilling riders again in no time.
skaterboy22101
I was sad that I didn't get to ride it today. All I rode was SoB, Racer, Vortex, and Diamondback, but I rode DB 18 times. Single Rider lane rocks! Btw, when I rode SoB, it was the first time he ever hurt me.. . Also, line jumpers were in full swing today! Jasper
From everyone I have saw post on here they said they have ridden Diamondback multiple times, sounds like it has AMAZING capacity.
skaterboy22101
^ It does, but the single rider lane is a hit or miss. The back seat is the best!
