Despite cloudy skies, it didn’t rain on Six Flags Over Texas’ parade Tuesday, as workers unloaded an Acme rocket float and a motorized Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine.

Those floats are part of the Arlington park’s new summer attraction, the Glow in the Park parade, which will open May 23. Along with a dragon spewing smoke and a fiber-optic version of Gotham City, the $2.5 million parade will wind its way through the park, taking about 30 minutes to travel the entire route from the Batman roller coaster toward the front gate....
