kjkjkj
Well first I would like to thank Kings Island for organizing such a cool event. I would also like to thank all the clubs (especially KIC!) for participating! I am so glad us KIC members get to do so many events and get togethers. It's great being apart of such an awesome "community"! No on to my PTR Well Ashley (Ashers) and I made it to the park Sunday morning at around 8:05 I think? We checked in and made it in the front gates at around 8:15-8:20. It was really neat walking through the park while it was dead quiet, usually it's so loud and crowded with GP! We ran into Don on the way back to The Racer, and he welcomed us to RWW, and told us that we would be able to do the Diamondback ERT at 9:30. That was pretty cool talking to Don! Since a lot of the details are in Ashley's PTR, I will just give my opinion on the event, and how much I liked it! Throughout the day we met up with Justin, Danielle, and Jackson. We also spoke to quiet a few other KIC members, but sadly didn't ride anything with them! I had a great time hanging out with everyone, and getting to know them! I can't wait until the next event to get to talk to some more members! So here are the main parts of the day. -ERT Sunday morning on Vortex, Racer, and Flight of Fear. GREAT! I loved getting to experience Flight of Fear with the lights on. Such a cool and unique experience! The Racer was running great as usual! We got in a few rides on it! Still a great classic Wooden coaster! Vortex was also a blast! Ashley and I rode in the very back row just to get that awesome little pop of airtime on the first hill! The ERT for the morning was a great way to start the day. It was a lot of fun! -Diamondback ERT at 9:30. I LOVE Diamondback! Every time I ride this coaster, it just keeps getting better! It is my favorite ride at KI now, tied with The Beast at night. Diamondback has amazing airtime, and it is so smooth! I am so glad Kings Island finally got a B&M! -The Drink Wristband. I thought it was cool the park gave us these. I think I drank about $40 worth of pop!haha. Danielle was getting mad because one of us had to pee about every 20 minutes haha. -Racer Behind the scenes tour. Really cool. I have never been to a coaster event before, so this was my first time getting a walkback on any ride. It was a lot of fun taking pictures, and being like 2 feet away from The Racer trains thundering by! I kind of wish we could have gotten taken farther back than where we did, but it was still really cool! -Getting Gummy Whales and trying on hats. We had to go to the candy place on I-Street, so Danielle could buy her Gummy Whales. Shortly after that, we tried on these hilarious hats. Ashley took a picture of me, Danielle and Justin all wearing these ridiculous hats! It was so funny. I decided to submit that as my Photo Contest Entry because I knew people would be submitting great pictures from the behind the scenes tours, so I had no chance! haha. -Son of Beast Behind the scenes tour. AWESOME! I enjoyed this one more than The Racer tour because we could get way better shots, and we could spread out a lot more. It was really cool to see how HUGE the SOB structure is. It seemed gigantic when you were that close! I have always enjoyed SoB, and now it seems even more impressive to me! I loved this tour, it was awesome! - Last rides on Diamondback. AMAZING, I LOVE Diamondback!! I got to experience my first front seat ride on Diamondback on Sunday night. Wow, it was AMAZING! I think that is definitely my favorite seat on Diamondback! Although I love every seat on Diamondback, the front just tops them all. (Yes I have been in the very back, that is my second favorite seat). This was one of my favorite parts of the day, because everyone was cheering and yelling! This was the perfect end to a great day at KI. Now on to the pictures! Driving! Entrance area I-Street Walking through Coney Mall on the way to ERT! Ashley and Danielle! Racer! Diamondback!!!! Ride Warriors more Diamondback! Ashley! more to come!
