Had been looking forward to this trip for over a month...

so the bus heads out at 6:30 and we arrive in the parking lot around 11. My girlfriend, Hannah, isn't really into rides so we walked around a bit then headed over to Bluestreak. We only waited about 15 minutes or so. The ride was packed full of airtime but was a bit rougher than I remember. Hannah has a medical condition affecting her back and because of this came off the ride feeling a little sore. Next came Disaster Transport. After about a ten minute wait we were on. The ride ran well but I just found it a bit boring.

Now it was nearing 2:00 so we decided to eat. We ended up getting pizza from some restaurant near the saloon in Frontier town. The food was ok and wasn't ridiculously priced.

After eating we decided to rep some water rides. First we rode Thunder Canyon three times in a row. Every ride Hannah and I ended up feeling the full brunt of the water falls :). Then it was on to Snake River Falls (which i thought they had removed to make room for Maverick, but i guess i was mistaken). After about five minutes we were on. The ride was fun and a lot bigger than i remember.

In an attempt to dry off a bit we rode the train back to the front station. So we start heading towards the front of the park we we go by Wildcat. Now this was a first time ride for both of us. The ride was great for its ride and the ride ops did a great job keeping the line moving. Hannah wanted to ride Iron Dragon so in line we go. After five to ten minutes we were on. Once again the ride was running well i just found it lacking.

It took Hannah ten minutes to convince me it was ok to ditch her for one ride. But she did, and so I went to Millennium Force! When we initially got in line they were running the blue and yellow trains and were expecting an hour wait. While in line they then switched to only the yellow train, then the blue, then the red, then red and blue, then blue and yellow, and finally all three. From the time we got in line to the time we exited we only waited forty-five minutes. Great job MF crew. This was the first time I've been on MF and all i have to say is WOW...after about the first fifty feet of the first drop i managed to regain my composure...and wow this ride gives air. We sat last car, second row of the yellow? train. It just blew me away.

And another first for myself...TTD. I had wanted to ride all day but kept on putting it off bc off long lines...around six we walked by and the wait was only about thirty minutes so in line we go...after deliberating in line Hannah made the smart choice of not riding for fear it would injure her back even more....i sat second to last row of the green train was so so anxious...the ride was great, though the launch didn't feel as forceful as i would have thought. I really liked going straight up and especially going over the hill...wow what a feeling...and view...then the trip down was....phenomenal....TTD was just plain fun...

When i got off Hannah told me about how one of those black birds had landed on her head...so she was a little freaked out. We started walking and decided to ride the bumper cars lol. By now it was nearing seven and we had to be back to the bus by eight so we decided to just chill out the rest of the time. Hannah ended up doing a little shopping. Then while she was getting a shake i tried winning her a stuffed animal...but ended up blowing ten dollars to merely come to the conclusion that i should never become a NFL QB...

the only downside to the day was on the way home Hannah started feeling pain in the midsection...so bad that she was crying...she has yet to see a doctor, though i think it could be appendicitis...so please keep her in your prayers

The park was on the busy side...i didn't ride very many rides....but this was still a great trip. the park was in superb condition and line jumping wasn't an issue...Thanks to Cedar Point for an awesome day with Hannah. And thanks to those who read this :)

That would be Chuckwagon. Best pizza in the park, by far.

And yes, Hannah needs to get checked out right away!

Terpy, who cares

I'm surprised she was ok with the bumper cars - they are truly bumper cars, not "slightly tap" cars like KI has and can get very violent very easily. I have back problems that are not bothered at all by roller coasters but can be bothered by particularly violent bumper cars. Hopefully that's not what caused her the pain later on. Let us know what's up with her, we're all a bunch of mother hens on here and we worry. :)

Glad you had a good time at Cedar Point. I firmly believe it is a park that everyone should visit at least once in their life.
