Guest rcfreak339
I went to Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky to get my fix on coasters and some other thrills. It's a small family owned amusement park that is very nice. The employees were very nice, the park was clean and it had some touch ups from last year. I really had no complaints at all. The prices are good, there not low but not high. I like the way they do lockers, you pay 7 dollars for one and if you return the key you get 3 back. So lets get on to the photos! When you enter you are greeted by a lake known as "Swan Lake" Sea Dragon is the new ride for 2009, it was relocated from Michal Jacksons infamous backyard park. Main Gate Its the Kentucky Rumbler and its a cool GCI! Wait what!?!?!?!?! NO! Needless to say I was in a crappy mood, so I decided to just walk for a couple of minutes taking pictures. Looping Star and yes it sucks.... I didn't ride because my ears are still bleeding from last year. View across Swan Lake to the seadragon This has to be the most insane drop ride ever. More pics in a sec.

coaster_junky
i've been trying to talk my mom and dad into taking me there, exactly how much does it cost to get in?
Guest rcfreak339
Old Ferris wheel. A dragon coaster clone you see at almost every other park. Prospecting game...or something I guess The vintage cars were very fun! This Haunted House just makes you go "WTF JUST HAPPEND TO ME!?" Hang one, Whats this? It opened! Station fly-by! Boy is it still a great ride! There is airtime anywere you sit! But a little retracking wouldn't hurt. Hey Jordan! Wish you could ride this GCI don't you? Yeah. I know you do. I KNOW! More photos in a second!

Guest rcfreak339
Ghetto log flume. Splash! They had a really nice water park named "Splash Lagon" which is preety new. Kids play area. The wild mouse was built the same year Rumbler was built. I give you one last shot of the Rumbler! Thanks for reading!
Guest rcfreak339
i've been trying to talk my mom and dad into taking me there, exactly how much does it cost to get in? $24.00 for full admission/all rides armband and $8.00 just for admission. coaster_junky
yea, i don't think my mom or dad would pay $32 for me to ride kentucky rumbler a few times.
Monroe
See This site at the bottom, they also have a ticket ride program that would be cheaper than an armband. Also there is some other things in the area, like a race track and other touristy things. http://www.beechbend.com/prices.htm http://www.beechbend.com/amusementpark.htm http://www.beechbend.com/
The Interpreter
First, I LOVE the Log Flume sign: No Shirt No Shoes No Ride yea, i don't think my mom or dad would pay $32 for me to ride kentucky rumbler a few times. It's either/or. The armband includes admission...so it would be $24. Or you could pay $8 and then pay per ride. You would quickly spend the $24 though, and be done. Kentucky Rumbler requires 10 tickets per ride! Tickets are 50 cents each, so that's five dollars per ride on Rumbler. The mouse is $2 per ride. So, for three rides on Rumbler and one on the Mouse, you have already spent more than an on an armband, and you can't ride anything else without spending yet more. The $8 deal is best for non-riders...like, say, your parents? What would they pay at Kings Island? Oh, yeah, the same as you, whether they ride or not. Beast1979
Thanks for the great PTR. It's good to see some different parks on here, especially one like Beech Bend, which gets hardly any attention at all! A shame, too, it's such a fantastic park.
