italianchef
Greeting fans of Paramount’s Kings Island. In case you are interested, I, the PKI enthusiast and author of The Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount’s Kings Island, will have my second book signing on June 7th, 2003 from 2 to 4 PM. It will be held at the Walden Books at the Kenwood Town Center. It is located at the bottom floor and not far from the food court. If you can make it, I will be honored. If not, as the Australians say "no worries". Edited January 1, 1970 by italianchef
DragonLord
Sounds like fun, hopefully I will be able to make it over... I turn 21 ( ) on the 6th and I have two cousins graduating HS on the 7th, it'll be a busy day, not to mention a busy weekend!

I turn 21 ( ) on the 6th and I have two cousins graduating HS on the 7th, it'll be a busy day, not to mention a busy weekend! If you can make it.........groovy and I wish you a Happy Birthday. If you can't make it - I'm sure to have another book signing in the future (and hopefully at PKI). And once again......I wish you a Happy 21st Birthday. Not to get off track, but I remember my 21st Birthday 10 years ago. I couldn't wait to be IDed so that the bar tender and/or bouncer would say "Happy Birthday". I went to AT LEAST 4 different bars that night. And not one person asked to see my ID. Happy Birthday! Italian Chef
DragonLord
We'll see what happens on my birthday, if you remember I was the one that wanted PKI to be dry! It's going to be a long weekend, and I will be off work that entire weekend, so lots of time to recover! I have heard that the hype dies down after a while... I mean after 21 you really have nothing to look forward to till 30... then 40... God, I'm getting old!
StXBomber
I should get my schedule tomorrow (even though i shouldve gotten it yesterday), so I'll see if I can make it!
StXBomber
I am working a close that day, and I live near Kenwood, so I should be there! Can't wait to meet you! (I wont be able to stay very long, work await me right after)

Though I am quite fond of wine - and on RARE occasions drink a beer - I have never drank at PKI. The reason is that for me, alcohol and thrill rides don't mix with my weak stomach. (I wont be able to stay very long, work await me right after) StXBomber, I sincerely hope that you can make it. My last book signing was a disaster because of severe thunder storms. Eight people told me that they'd show up and none of them did because if the weather. Don't worry about not being able to stay long. Have a great day. DragonLord
Actually, italianchef, I'm going to Olive Garden on Friday for dinner with my family and friends and I look forward to a good wine with my dinner. Any recommendations? The graduation starts at 3 and is downtown so I will see about stopping in early to be the first in line so I can leave right from the mall and go to the graduation... I'll be sure to introduce myself if I do go!

If you eat white meat: chicken, pork, panchetta or fish.......I recommend Pino Grigio. Italian Chef

DragonLord
Thank you! The pleasure was all mine! I really enjoyed meeting with you and wish I could have stayed longer. The book is great! I've managed to read a few pages of it already, but it's been a busy day so I won't be able to finish it till tomorrow. Getting the book and having you sign it was a great birthday gift! Again, thank you very much and hopefully they will have another signing at the park (on a day I work) so I'll be able to meet you again. I hope the pictures look great, maybe I'll see them posted on the site? Thanks again!!
