Jasper
Pretty good quality also, in my opinion, for an iPhone.
Ki Man
3. Turbo Drop - It destroyes Drop Tower. Turbo drop actually launches you down, and it has several bounces afterwards giving you the feeling of Airtime. My 2 cents on those rides. You did not just say what I think you said. I have to go console my baby now. Launches you down?! It gently gives you a slight push. I was SOOO dissapointed with both Space Shot and Turbo Drop this year. Especially Drop since I've been skipping it. The airtime is NOTHING compared to their other towers. Try S&S's other towers; Double Shot, Combo, Space Shot at different parks. Cedar Point's honestly suck in my opinion. The onlything good about them is the view. The ride itself is boring. PowerLESS Tower. Go for Demon Drop. THAT'S airtime. And Terpy, I'm so with you on Maverick. Not only does the front seat have the amazing views, it has unmatched smoothness, airtime, and forces that you can't find anywhere else on the ride. After riding the whole train, I'm only going to the front seat. It's tied with Voyage for number one in my book.
KI Kevin
Just curious as to what rides you diasgree with. I love hearing other peoples opinions on rides. I realize that was directed towards Jackson but I also disagree on a few. -Iron Dragon: Probably one of the most dull rides I've ever ridden. Horrible in comparison to Flight Deck or Big Bad Wolf. -Blue Streak: I don't like this ride too much. It's horribly rough and I didn't get any airtime. I prefer Racer much more. -Mean Streak: I am a minority here. I actually do like this ride, unless you're in the back seat, what a painful experience. My thoughts. KI Kevin
Whats wrong with the back seat of Maverick? If you enjoy it, then do! For me the front seat is where it is at for Maverick. The other rows? I'd rather go to Chuckwagon and eat pizza, thank you very much! I'd heard that you liked Chuckwagon, so I went there once. It was SOOOOOO good. On topic. I like back seat on Maverick a lot but front seat is slightly better.
KI Kevin
I see you have seen fit to bump this thread. For those who wonder why Intimidator has the restraint system planned for it that it does, I commend reading this thread again... Okay so I'm confused. They say Intimidator will have overhead lapbars, but no shoulder restraints, but the animation of the car has the Maverick/ Fairhenheit/ Ka restraints. Which is it? The Interpreter
Intimidator will have restraints like Maverick. Kings Dominion chooses to describe those as not being over the shoulder restraints. They are restraints, they do go over your shoulders, though they do not normally touch them. . .
74Gibson
These marketing games are getting a bit annoying. As long as the rides continue to deliver though, I won't continue to whine! Whine (the verb), not to be confused with wine (the noun)... something Gibson will continue to do As for Maverick, I've only ridden front seat once but it was completely amazing and definitely my best ride yet!
