blueberryicecream Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I know that park admission is cheaper after 5:00 pm, but I was just wondering if parking was any cheaper? Thanks Quote
MarketingExpress Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I know back in the Paramount days, they used to pull their tolls associates at 5 or 6 o'clock and you could just drive in without having to pay for parking. Not sure if CF does the same thing, I doubt it if they are trying to get all those nickles that everyone is talking about. Quote
gad198 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I'm pretty sure they pull the toll associates two hours prior to park closing. This has been the case just about every time I've gone. Perhaps on July 3/4 (or other days when people may be coming to the park en masse later than usual) that may not be the case, though, so YMMV. Quote
KIfan1980 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I've pulled in several times after 7pm and always found an associate at the Parking tolls. Quote
TopThrill Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Cedar Fair is in the business of making money, they will try to nickel and dime everyone though out the day. Even in the later hours. Quote
Rollerzach Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 How much is it to get into the park after 5pm? Quote
violakat03 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 It seems to be hit or miss whether there are associates there or not. I've pulled in at 5:30 and they've been empty. I've pulled in at 8 (on a night they closed at 10) and they were still taking money. At Kings Dominion earlier in the season, when they closed at 8, my husband and I left the park for dinner and pulled back in around 7. That was the first time I'd ever seen the toll booths empty at a Cedar Fair park. Quote
MarketingExpress Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 How much is it to get into the park after 5pm? I don't think they do the after 5:00pm tickets discount now. Especially since they have the pay once visit twice deal. Quote
XGatorHead 8904 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 ^ They do, and it's $24.99. See the bottom of this page: http://www.visitkingsisland.com/shop/shopp...l_admission.cfm Quote
MarketingExpress Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I stand corrected, thanks for correcting that... Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 ^ They do, and it's $24.99. See the bottom of this page: http://www.visitkingsisland.com/shop/shopp...l_admission.cfm For just $4 more, you can stay all day if you buy your tickets at participating Kroger stores.... Quote
