NoLimits8705
< IF THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN ASKED PLEASE DO NOT YELL AT ME> I just wanted to know what kind of shows everyone would like to see at pki? In my opnion I would like to see more dance shows with a bigger cast, like broadway style shows. Or if they do a musical revue like POP FUSION again, maybe they could get more up to date songs to sing and dance to! I loved POP FUSION, but the songs were alittle old. Vibe should be good though cause my french teacher use to dance there and her friend is in VIBE and Pulse or whatever show is like stomp. My teacher said that the shows are good!! Then also my tap teacher at Rhythm In Shoes said her friends are in VIbe and one of them was in Pop Fusion. So what does everyone else think PKi should do? If PKI does do a musical of some sort they should do like all the classic Paramount musical, liek have a revue of all the best songs from the musicals. I remember when I was younger coming to the park and seeing STAR TREK on ice and some show that had to do with a spin off of Charlie Chaplin, I loved both those shows!! I am more than sure that PKi can do this...i have faith! Especially if they did a musical show, a shorten version fo course, like Beauty and The Beast at disney World. I saw that and it was so awesome and was only liek 12 minutes or so....PKI CAN DO IT! >>>>GOTTA GET THE VIBE......June 14th<<<< Edited January 1, 1970 by NoLimits8705

NoLimits8705
Awesome!! You are so lucky...you get to work at PKI and you worked POP FUSION!! I love the danicng in that! The costumes were so bright, me and my friend still talk about the blonde boy with the nipple hole short. I believe he was in yellow, but the best guy was the boy in orange who did a back flip on stage!! SO SO awesome!
Crispy1979
I'm not sure if any of you rememebr from the year before KI was bought by Paramount (early 90's), but they had a show called "Escapades" in what is now the Paramount Theatre. In my mind, that was the last great song and dance revue show they had at King's Island. The Skating show used to be in the Festaus. I believe that Paramount continues to have the skating show in the Faustaus for another year after they bought the park and had the various numbers themes to Paramount movies. The following year is when they moved the skating show to the Paramount Theatre which simply didn't work.... they didn't have as much room to skate as they did in the Festaus. Just curious... i read on the PKI website that there is a magic show in the Paramount Theatre. Has nyone seen it? How is it? Cris
NoLimits8705
Yeah there is a magic show in the theater, but I havn't sen it sorry! Alsowas the skating show really in the festhaus?? DIn't know that, but I don't remeber escapade! I still want a broadway typ show at the P. Theater that wuld be awesome. Specially if they did GREASE! Crispy1979
Yes, the skating show was in the Festaus, as that's what the building was originally built for. The skating surface was HUGE which allowed for a very large cast and gave lots of room for the skaters to form formations on stage and to do all the big "tricks" and tosses and partnering moves with the girls. PKI used to be very much an entertainment based park. My parents and my friend's parents didn't ride rides, but bought season passes to just go see the shows... they also used to have a dolphin/sea lion show, but they tore down that theatre when Paramount bought the park, also. italianchef
Out of every show Mrs. Chef and I have seen at PKI, our all-time favorite is GRAVEYARD SHIFT!!!!!!! I'd like to bring back that show and more like it, in terms of the horror theming, the music, the dancing, and the cast. Additionally, I'd like to see Broadway reviews - or even a parody of one. How about The Phantom of the Theater.........Maestro can be Phantom and Helga can be Christine, etc. Phantom of the Opera is my favorite musical and Phantom Theater was my favorite non-roller coaster ride before it was removed. italianchef
ROCK ON ITALIAN CHEF!! That would be an awesome thing to do!! You cannot go wrong with anything from broadway revue or even parody. LOL Italianchef you are awesome!! NoLimits, I am most pleased that you agree with me. You must be familiar with the proverb "Great minds think alike". Sincerely, Italian Chef PS - Let's do a parody of Phantom of the Opera with The Phantom Theater. The Maestro will be the Phantom. Helga will be Christine. Okay/ But who will be Raoul? Garbanzo or Houdelini??????????
bingog34
Raoul is SOOO the Mighty Bosco!
NoLimits8705
Yesh yesh chef...great minds do think alike!! Havn't seen Phatom of Opera, but everyone says it is really good. I think PKI should do a parody of Hairspray, cause that has some really awesome songs in it!! Or Chicago!! AND ALL THAT JAZZ!! lol The could even do Moulin Rouge, even though the stage play don't come out till next year. They could even do a vaudeville or moulin roge type show. Or trl or sumthing or even say what karoake. Haha let em shut up now!!
