shellpo202 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 For those who are old enough to drink, are the frozen drinks that they serve at the park good, are they worth the $$? Thanks Quote
Browns4life Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 No not at all. There is barely any alcohol in them. They taste good, but are way overpriced. I had a frozen margarita at Epcot and it was well worth it the 8.50. You could mix the flavors... they had lime, strawberry, mango, and apple. I gota all of them and you could get a nicew buzz off of them. Quote
Captain Picard Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 The best alcohol is at Epcot. If you go to the food and wine festival you can get messed up good. Start your way around to the right and be ready to toss your cookies by the time you get to China. The ones at ki don't have enough alcohol in them to tell if there is any in it. Quote
Browns4life Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I was there last year when it was going on, im not a big wine fan, but i did partake in the different beers that were available. I like how KI has beer easily available, unlike CP that only sells it in 3 places and usually 2 are closed. Quote
Captain Picard Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I like Ohio wine myself Heineman's and Firelands. I always try to visit their winery when I go to Cedar Point. I bet you would find a wine you like there. If anyone goes try some ice wine if you can afford it. Quote
Jasper Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Sometimes though being as you all call it "Messed Up", is not always the best thing. You should always drink responsibly and know your limit. As for taste though, I have no idea being I am only 17. Quote
Captain Picard Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Drinking and riding Mission Space is not a good idea. Quote
Jasper Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Captain, are you just asking to throw your whole mornings eating away that fast? Quote
Captain Picard Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Going around Epoct getting drunk and watching people eat Sushi will do it. Quote
BavarianBeatle Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 In the last two years, I think I have had all of three beers at parks. However, I think anythging you buy there is vastly overpriced. I would suggest drinking in the parking lot like I used to in my younger days (but only when someone else was driving, of course). LOL!! Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I dont drink at the parks but this amaretto sour is freaking good. Quote
Browns4life Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Yeah the parking lot is the way to go, stop by thr liquor store get some tequila and take shots then ride although make sure you can handle your alcohol, or you might end up like this... http://edmondclothing.com/wp-content/uploa...oaster-puke.jpg Quote
rotag Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 im really fond of my jim and Coke. now if i can convince them to get jim black or bacardi 151!!! Quote
BavarianBeatle Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 And I must add, being too drunk at a park is never a good thing..... For example, the woman who died on Flight Commander and Tower Johnny (and countless examples at other parks). Both of those should be lessons to us all about responsible behavior around rides that could literally kill those who act irresponsibly!!!! Quote
rotag Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 with the given price, who can afford to get THAT drunk??? rotag, who says not me!!! Quote
KIfan73 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I got a Bud Light Lime at Lt. Dan's a few weeks ago, and it was quite possibly the coldest bottle of beer I've ever had. Mmmmm. The guy working the bar was really good, too. Quote
Browns4life Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Those aluminum bottles are one of the greatest things ever made! But i dont like how they only come in 4 packs in the store! Quote
windshawne Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Yeah the parking lot is the way to go, stop by thr liquor store get some tequila and take shots then ride although make sure you can handle your alcohol, or you might end up like this... http://edmondclothing.com/wp-content/uploa...oaster-puke.jpg Oh, nasty!! Coaster Kid Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 A couple weeks ago when I went to KI with my freinds and his dad. His dad had a couple of those drinks. We rode Diamondback right after he was finished. His dad got to the top of the lift hill and got sick over the edge of the hill. So glad I sat a row in front of them. A.K.A row 15 Quote
