July 17, 200917 yr Yesterday, my mom and I, along with other friends, went up to Cedar Point for the day. We left our house at 10:30 and got there around 12:30. I got dropped off at the Marina gate and the train was loading to go to Frontier Town. I wanted to go back there so off I went to get on the train. I caught the first show at Palace and thought it was okay. Then I powerwalked to Red Garter to see Got Country. As a note, I love that place and that show. The show was great. I basically watched it (and besides, it was kind of hot outside.) I would not want to wait in a line in the afternoon because of the heat. So I now have seen that show ten times. I also had an interesting conversation with one of the servers in there. Later on, I rode Iron Dragon and I found part of our group and we rode Cedar Downs Racing Derby. We went back and ate dinner. After dinner, we went back in the park and walked through Starlight Experience, which I like. Hot Summer Lights started so we went to see that. Then, we left for home. Not completely eventful, but I had a good day. That's all that matters.
July 19, 200917 yr Not that I don't like the idea of Starlight Experience, but I have yet to make my way to the Point this year and I was wandering if SE brought down the charm of Frontier Town in the daytime?
July 19, 200917 yr No it doesn't. Also, Starlight is so good that I stop my night time riding to walk through it every time I'm there, very few night shows (most of them being located in a certain set of parks just south of Orlando) are good enough for me to do that. Also, courtney you missed TTD/Magnum ride night! It was sweet, I managed 13 rides on Magnum (11 in a row, 2 trimless) and one ride on TTD during the Platinum Pass ERT.
July 19, 200917 yr Author I knew it was TTD/Magnum ride night, but we were just tired and wanted to get home.
