The Interpreter
Includes a great video, too: ....Happy-memory tears. I was with Joe Tomaro and John Frato, better known as the Euclid Beach Boys, and we were moving in one of the Flying Turns cars -- a sort of disjointed bobsled on wheels that used to whip around at 27 mph on a railless wooden track that was more of a barrel. The woman said she and her honey -- who later became her hubby -- spent many hours in Flying Turns cars. It was a great "date ride," Joe said, because you could actually hug your true love throughout the ride. ... http://www.cleveland.com/onthejob/index.ss...emorabilia.html (mobile exhibit)
PhantomTheater
I have seen, and ridden the stuff from the Euclid Beach Boys. They are great guys with excellent memorabilia, and who else drives a coaster car and a rocket down public roadways? If you ever get the chance, a ride in the rocket car is a must for any amusement park fan. As for Laughing Sal, the nightmares!
coaster_junky
that clown thingy had to be the most creepy thing i have ever seen. coaster_junky, who for some reason is freaked out by porcelain dolls, puppets, life size wax models of people, and now paper mache clowns.
