I would not ride Vortex if it only had lap bars. That would almost certainly result in severe whiplash.

Years ago, when Vortex was less rough, it was one of the first coasters I'd run to. I rode it yesterday and came off with a terrible headache.. at least Magnum XL-200 is worth a little pain.. IMO, Vortex is not.

I am not swearing to it but I think I did touch the tunnel on The Beast. I felt something slam my hand back and i looked and my finger was black and blue.

LOL maybe it was "The Beast!". it strikes again

those night rides through those long silent curves are creepy, feels like your being watched

Since when is it silent going around curves on The Beast? I always here The Beast screaming people screaming, and the air rushing by my ears. :blink:

LOL, Well yeah, now that i think about, there are the screams. haha. Maybe i was just in awe at how beautiful everything was. the stars and moon and the woods. it was magical, i wanted to cry. lol. wait, your right, i rode The Beast last week and it was super loud. lol i dunno then i most have been in trance looking at everything.
