The Interpreter
Universal City Development Partners, the owner of Universal Orlando, reported a 28.6 percent increase in second quarter profit even as its attendance dropped. ...Universal said its park admissions fell 14 percent during the quarter compared to last year, and blamed the decrease primarily on the global economic downturn. The park owner said lower operating costs associated with the decrease in business helped bolster the bottom line. http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories...03/daily42.html
Diamondback FOF
Okay. Attendance had a pretty large drop, but profits had a really good increase? Since when do those two go together?
