SANDUSKY, Ohio, Aug. 27 -- The savings on summer fun will be big next week at Cedar Point. Monday, Aug. 31 through Friday, Sept. 4, all guests (ages 3-61, 48 inches and taller) can save $15 on a Cedar Point one-day admission ticket purchased online at cedarpoint.com. For the Starlight price of $29.99, guests can enjoy a full day of excitement on Cedar Point's unmatched collection of rides and roller coasters. Junior tickets (ages 3-61, under 48 inches tall) and Senior tickets (age 62 and older) are only $19.99. Children age 2 and under are free. With 75 rides, including 17 roller coasters, Cedar Point has more rides and more coasters than any park in the world. Other family favorites include the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad, the Giant Wheel Ferris wheel and three traditional carrousels. There's also plenty of action for younger guests at Camp Snoopy and Planet Snoopy. Besides rides, guests will be able to watch some of the park's award-winning live entertainment. Got Country features popular country tunes while Snoopy takes center stage in Charlie Brown's Funtime Frolics. At dusk, Starlight Experience, the park's new themed lighted walkway, uses more than one million LED lights to illuminate the Frontier Trail with lights and colors. It will be in operation each night until the Maverick and Millennium Force roller coasters close for the evening. It is also prime time to enjoy the park's floral and landscaping displays that are at their peak of color.
