Well if you have talked to me in the past you would know I don't go to Kings Island very often, I only go maybe twice a year and 3 at the max. But I'm going to try and go to the reunion just about every year and this year it was excellent! On to the tip report (I'll post photo's when I get home)

I started out my day checking in, getting a fancy lanyard and picking up the scedule. We got to have early acsess to Diamondback with gold pass members and since I don't even have a pass this was a real treat. I ended up getting 7 rides on Diamondback and since I was a single rider I got to just basiclly stay on just changing seats. It's a terrific ride giving a load of airtime. After the exclusive ride time I meet some freinds near the entrance of The Beast and decided to take it for a spin. The Beast is a great ride, but today it gave a bad ride in my book. It's just trimmed so heavily. Next was Crypt which I haven't been on since it was TR:TR. It was decent. I didn't find anything wrong with the cycle but it was just to short to really tell. I would also love to see some more special effects. We hit Racer up next and since it was still early they were only running one side which was the red side, and it had to be one of the best rides Iv'e ever had on Racer. It was great! Smooth and had a load of air! We went to Action Zone to ride most of the rides there. Delerium was first. I love Delerium but I would love to see a longer ride cycle. Next we went to Drop Tower, it was already around noon so it already had a 30min+ wait. It was a good ride, the tension at the top still gets me everytime! At this time my freinds decided to head on over to Boomerang Bay, since I didn't bring my swim suit I decided to hang out by myself. I spent the next 2 hours just kind of wasting time, riding rides I wouldn't normally ride. Like the Bumper Cars, Monster, Congo Falls, ect...I went over to the picnic grove where the reunion group had the picnic. The food was really good and there was plenty of it. Defenitly worth the 11 bucks spent on it. I meet my freinds again around 4 and hit Vortex which gave a awesome ride! We walked on over to Flight Deck which had a decent sized line which moved really, really fast and had a good ride. We went to Flight of Fear which had a huge wait and the line was so slow, I even think the AC was off which made it even more of a long wait. I also had to be one of the worst rides Iv'e had on it. It was really jerky and went really slow. Then we once again just kind of wasted time just riding random rides.

After they left for home I headed up to the reunion up in International Restaurant. It's in perfect condition and I just love how they still continue to renovate and touch up International Restaurant. They had a nice variety of snacks and desserts set up. They had door prizes and many other things. We watched the Fireworks from up there and if you haven't seen them from IR you need to, it's really cool. Around 10:15 we headed over for last rides on Diamondback. I loved it once again! I had a great time, I could really tell Kings Island put a lot of effort into the reunion this year. It felt more like a event. Thaanks for reading!

What kind of food did they have, both in the picnic area and IR?

When I went to KI on Monday (not for reunion obviously), the AC in FOF was on, and it was even cooler outside . Also, my ride seemed jerky.

**For all of you complaining about the MCBR on FOF because it slows you down: we stopped yesterday! It was for two or three seconds.

rcfreak - Did you go on Saturday or Sunday? If you went Sunday, were you wearing a gray Diamondback shirt?

Yes, I was! I was the one by myself because my friends went over to Boomerang Bay and left early.

I think you actually sat at the same set of picnic tables as us at the picnic grove. We got there right when the grove opened. There were 6 of us (5 adults and my 4 yr old daughter). I was wearing my white KIC shirt with my username in BIG black letters on the back. You should have introduced yourself! If you're who I'm thinking of, you sat just to the right of me!
