The Interpreter
The legendary Comet, which thrilled thousands of visitors years ago at Crystal Beach amusement park in Ontario, has been named a Roller Coaster Landmark by the American Coaster Enthusiasts. The trade group will unveil a permanent market honoring the wooden coaster on Sept. 13 during its two-day summer conference at the at The Great Escape amusement park near Lake George in northern New York.... http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/stories.../07/daily8.html
Diamondback96
Wait, they're putting a store in front of Comet? Doesn't anyone else think that's weird?
The Interpreter
Tis yet another typo. Editing, a lost art. Interpeting has a bright future...
Diamondback96
I can't believe I caught that typo before Terpy!

Diamondback96
Oh, of course you already caught it when you posted it. My bad. :P
The Interpreter
I loved your comment.... And for those who haven't ridden the Comet, it is a fine roller coaster, and well worth a trip to Lake George, New York...especially for those who claim wooden coasters must be less than smooth....see also El Toro in that regard...or the Lake Winnie Cannon Ball... Terpy, happy to say he was on the first train of the morning at Comet's opening at Lake George
goofywdw
I went up there for my 16th birthday and knew nothing about that coaster. It was my last coaster of the day and couldn't get enough. I absolutely loved it. This is some pretty cool news.
