Is now the best time to get a season pass? Or do they get cheaper in the off-season? Looking specifically to get a gold pass for the family for Christmas..

Yes, I'd say this is the best time to get gold passes. I doubt they'll be getting any lower.

This is as low as they'll be..things liek parking may still be free, but my guess is that after the season ends you'll pay to upgrade to gold and the base price will def be higher. I'd say act now. I'll be renewing this wknd at the park to take advantage of the 69.99 deal.

Now is generally the best time to get a season pass. Historically, the season pass price usually increases after the fall.

Just wonders about platinum, cause I wanna jump on that. Hopefully I can when money flow gets better.

If the past is any teacher, and it usually is, the price for Platinum Passes will gradually go up as next season nears. Weekend before last, you could have saved five dollars and gotten a Cedar Fair VIP jacket by buying it at Cedar Point in person, but you would have had the costs of the trip to get there (and the fun of riding Millennium Force, etc.)
