I was reading on Wikipedia about The Beast and it said it opened on Friday, April 13, 1979. I just thought that was kinda strange. I know this is random, but I thought I should share. Maybe Friday the 13th isn't totally bad luck, as The Beast seems to have done well. OR, maybe the date that it opened is the reason it is haunted (if you believe that)?

*I can't guarentee that is accurate as it is from Wikipedia. ;)

The name Fairly Odd Coaster is no longer available for old Sonny...

but "Fairly Off Coaster" is available...

Oh, I suspect Viacom would think that is a bit too close....maybe 10 years from now, not...but right now it is just too close to the nick of time.

Perhaps because many guests are still using names like Face/Off, Top Gun, Drop Zone, Italian Job: Stunt Coaster, Tomb Raider: The Ride, etc.

Sorry, yes, this is what I meant.

I have said that if they are going to rename Son of Beast, they should call it "AirTran the Ride"..... (Still wonder if anybody gets that.... :) )
