maverick2007 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Six Flags Magic Mountain to add 17th Coaster A new family coaster is coming in early summer, bringing the coaster count to 17! Joining the world-renown collection, the new coaster will be located in the northwest corner of the Park, near last season's newest innovative thrill ride, Terminator® Salvation™: The Ride. Source Well it looks like CP no longer has more coasters than any other park. Rumor has it this new coaster will be a Tony Hawk Spinner. What does everyone think about this?
Diamondback96 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I think CF knew this was coming. Why else would they move a 20-year-old ride all the way across the country? I can see Disaster Transport being moved to another location inside the park, though... And about the new coaster: No name? Why are we not allowed to know the name?
The Interpreter Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Perhaps Six Flags learned something from Cedar Fair's Banshee experience.
maverick2007 Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 That was more of a speculation thread (The paper could have misquoted Shapiro and there might not have been a coaster). This is after it had been confirmed.
Dvo Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Shapiro announced this a long time ago at one of the coaster events. It was just never fully released, apparently. http://coasterbuzz.com/Forums/Thread/56552...x?page=1#791411
