The Interpreter Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 First of all, Carl Lindner's Great American Financial, not Paramount, owned Kings Island at the time Phantom Theater opened. Note the Old English font Kings Island at the end of the commercial. Second, ad agencies produced the animation back then. It almost certainly was done in the Cincinnati area, not in Hollywood. Nowadays, much cartoon animation is computer generated and/or done overseas. Very little is hand drawn in the USA. Quote

It would be like the Samauri swordsmiths, who still make their instruments the old-fashioned way, despite advances in computer-controlled machineryy... Quote
