Newsboys Christian Rock Band Leads SonFest 6/12 at Carowinds

An impressive festivity of Contemporary Christian Music returns to Carowinds this year, featuring powerhouse band Newsboys as SonFest 2010 takes place on Saturday, June 12, at Carowinds' Paladium Amphitheatre. The concert will also feature Family Force 5, Remedy Drive, Tenth Avenue North, Fee, and speaker Mike Pitt. One of Christian Music's longest-running touring rock bands, Newsboys, returns as the headliner for SonFest 2010. The group has amassed total record sales exceeding six million in its two decades together. The band has five gold albums, more than 20 No. 1 radio hits and a full mantle of Gospel Music Association Dove Awards (Christian Music's highest honor) and Grammy nominations to its credit.
