March 17, 201016 yr I was confident that the MegaWhip might be a big thing, but both the Gordon Rides twitter and official website have been abandoned, since the 2009 IIAAPA trade show in November. Does anyone have any idea what is happening? I'm sort of thinking all of the designers have gone back to their normal jobs, and will be back next summer, but I don't know... The website= Gordon Rides | News and the Twitter= GordonRides (GordonRides) on Twitter
March 18, 201016 yr Hi there, Speaking on behalf of GordonRides, I can assure you that the MegaWhip and GordonRides are both alive and well. It's true, the website and Twitter account have been silent for a while - major progress has been made in the past few months, although everything has to remain under wraps for the time being. Suffice it to say that at some point between now and the next IAAPA trade show this coming November, a major announcement will be made, which will explain the silence for the past few months. In order to ensure everybody following GordonRides that progress is still being made, the GordonRides website and Twitter accounts will receive a brief update. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and look out for the updates, which will be posted today! Take care, Jonathan I. Gordon CEO/Lead Designer GordonRides, LLC
March 18, 201016 yr Thanks Jonathan. I deeply appreciate it when companies have the internal fortitude to communicate with we mere enthusiasts.
March 24, 201016 yr Author Agreed! Its awesome to have gotten an answer, especially by Mr. Gordon himself. I must say I am very excited to find out which park will be getting the Megawhip first.
March 24, 201016 yr Here's my wishful thinking... a few years back a Dollywood ride survey had the Henhouse Scramble dark ride. The mega whip could be an incredible ride vehicle for that concept.
