DaveStroem
Just found this old photo of Elizabeth & I riding Beastie way back when. This was her first real roller coaster and as you can tell her hands have been up from the beginning. She has now ridden over 200 different coasters sitting beside me. DaveStroem
It's purple! and LOL at the old guy behind you riding alone... He is not alone, he is my best friend and was the best man at my wedding. The 3 of use wouldn't fit in one row. For that matter He & I wouldn't fit in one row
KIfan1980
Great photo and memory Dave. For those of us with kids, we know how special those first coaster rides together can be. It is also great that we can continue to build lasting memories and bonds with our families at amusement parks. I will never forget the night my son and I had the first time he got the purple 48" wristband! Not trying to hi-jack your thread, but when I saw this I felt a need to share my first ride pictures (had to buy the on-ride photo for these events). 2007 - My now 6 1/2 year old - while not hands up for the first ride, he got right back in line and the hands have been up ever since. We are now at 16 different coasters together - which should increase at Dollywood in early April. 2009 - my now 4 year old - trying hard to keep the hands up! We are now at 3 coasters together - FOC being the biggest so far.
DaveStroem
Keith and others. I would love nothing more then to see your onride photos with your kids. Isn't this what it really is all about. Hi-Jack away.
