Lodging Question

Hello All =)

I was going to surprise my husband and bring him down for his birthday at the end of April. I was curious if anyone could recommend a place to stay. We will not have children with us, so I don't really want to stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Suggestions are appreciated.

I like this site for guest reviews, photos, amenities, and pricing. I heard a lot of good things about America's Best Inn.

If you do not want to stay in Mason, others might suggest the Blue Ash or Cincinnati area. I love Embassy Suites (there is one in Cincinnati), but I do not know how that particular one is. Those two locations seem to have more of a romantic getaway feel as opposed to a family heading to the local attractions vibe.

Hi msm2009! Welcome to KIC! If you are looking to save money, I've got a hotel for you. I would definitely recommend the Super 8 hotel right down the street from Kings Island. It's called Super 8 Mason and the website is here. I like using discount hotel sites such as Orbitz and Priceline, but with Super 8 Mason, I've always found cheaper rates right from the official site. You may want to check the discount sites first, though, just in case. I have never had a problem with the hotel - always have had a clean room and sheets and shower, etc. It's so close to KI too! That would be my recommendation to anybody because the value is great!

Welcome to KIC msm2009! This is the Embassy Suties in Cincinnati, who apparently have jacuzzi's. If the Reds are in town this hotel option could be more crowded because of the location, but are around places like Newport on the Levee, which provides some fun things to do.

I have always enjoyed Embassy Suites. They generally have an awesome breakfast included. The one in Atlanta (centennial park) has their's in what is Ruths Chris for Dinner.

Also Embassy Suites does free drinks at the manager's reception. I know rooms at Americas Best Inn offers jacuzzi rooms under their suites.
