Tips and Tricks for Navigating Walt Disney World

Recommended Posts

If your exposure to theme parks has been Six Flags or Cedar Point, the sheer scale of Walt Disney World in Florida can leave you bewildered. At 40 square miles, it's almost double the size of New York's borough of Manhattan. Picture yourself, on foot, pushing a stroller the entire length of the city -- and back -- because your toddler left a cherished toy somewhere in Tomorrowland. With four theme parks, five golf courses, hotels, waterparks, a separate entertainment district and a campground, Walt Disney World isn't a park, it's a city.

If anyone here is planning a trip to WDW, this is a pretty good guide.

I asked about this in a PM recently and was given the following three sites by an avid Disney fan.

For those of you interested in more Disney planning information, I suggest you get in contact with Jesse (Avatar) here on the forums. He makes annual trips to Walt Disney World and knows many of the ins and outs of the place.

Yep, 2+2=4
