italianchef
I had an idea. What if after PKI closes for the season some of us PKI fans meet at a restaurant, eat, and watch PKI-inspired TV including: 1. The BRADY BUNCH Kings Island Episode (which I have on tape) 2. The PARTRIDGE FAMILY Kings Island Episode (which I have on tape) 3. Other PKI appearances on The Travel Channel & Discovery Channel (which I have on tapes). We could all meet at Siam Orchid Thai Restaurant in Alexandria, KY on a Sunday after PKI closes for the season. On Sundays, the restaurant has a dirt cheap all you can eat Chinese and Thai buffet which I think is under $6. It normally costs money to rent the "party room" which has a TV and VCR. However, since the owner-chef and I are friends, it'd only cost the price of the individual buffets. Plus, if enough people show interest...I'll make a tray of my famous lasagna and place it with the Thai & Chinese buffet. Anyone interested? We can all talk about how much we miss PKI, watch KI-inspired TV, and munch on Thai, Chinese, and Italian food for low prices. Let me know. mydreamrewrite
haha, that sounds cool. a little dorky, but cool ;-) And since I live in Indiana I don't think I'd be able to make it
Tanner
While Alexandria is about ten minutes away, I have a feeling I would not be able to make it with my schedule. Sounds cool since Chinese is the best food ever created.
PKIJake
This sounds cool.I just signed up th eighth. But I've been reading you post for about a year. How far is Alexandria from Lexington,KY RThanks, BYe
BoddaH1994
^ Alexandria is just south of the river. Say if you were coming from Lexington and heading toward PKI, once you hit downtown and went toward I71, you'd take 471 to 275. If you decide to go, I can get you more detailed directions. StXBomber
As one person already said, dorky it is, but fun it also sounds! [/yoda] I would go! It would be a chance to try some of our chef's cooking!

PKI Homey
It would take me approximately the same time to get there as it would PKI, so I'm game. It would give us all a chance to meet and shake off the off-season blues. I love chinese food, so that would be cool. Or, you can't go wrong with lasagna. $6.00 is more than reasonable. I would probably stay somewhere close overnight and head back the next day. What else is there to see in Alexandria, KY? I would also need very specific instructions, because I get lost easy.
