The Interpreter
Paramount Parks wanted a record breaking wooden coaster with a loop... They got bid(s). The successful bidder got the project. Many of what you would think would be responsive bidders did not bid on the project. You will note the coaster did not have PTC trains. It did not have Morgan trains. It was not built by CCI, the then preeminent builder of wooden coasters... This was very much a prototype coaster...nothing like it had ever been built before (wooden coasters HAD been built with loops, but not of this size). And nothing remotely like it has been built since.
