BoddaH1994
New for 2010! Check out "Snoopy Rocks! On Ice!" in the Kings Island Theatre. Join Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and of course Charlie Brown as they recreate classic scenarios throughout the 60 year history of the Peanuts comics. This 30 minute do-not-miss show at Kings Island is performed every day except Wednesday. Times vary from day to day so check Kings Island's official site for show times. Too see photos, follow the link below: http://www.KICentral.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=329 For a limited time you can have an all-access pass to the hottest new rock show as Kings Island and Cedar Fair present Rock Band Live! That's right - the immensely popular video game has hit the stage at Kings Island featuring such rock classics as "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey and "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. Guests compete with each other prior to each show for a chance to actually perform in the show itself. The top three guests who impress the judges on the actual Rock Band video game will join the cast on stage for an all-out jam session. Rock Band Live run June 3rd through the 13th (no shows June 8th) at the International Showplace Theatre and is FREE with park admission or season pass. RingMaster
This essentially looks like School of Rock LIVE! in Concert (which is still my favorite KI show along with Twistin' to the 60s) but with interactive elements (in essence: using a video game). They also must REALLY love HDTVs. There's like, eight plastered on the show wall inside Festhaus, most of the major food eateries in the park (LaRosa's, Festhaus, Juke Box Diner) have them, and now RBL has six of them as one big giant screen to show the game. I would hope they were bought wholesale at a cheap price, otherwise it's kind of a waste spending $30,000 just on flat screens alone.
