Two excerpts;

Steam? when was the last time an amusement ride ran on steam? Also, the launch is 3.8 seconds not one second, it would be a heck of a launch if it was one second long.

Grace got her first experience on a traditional wooden coaster when we rode "Blue Streak," a staple at the park since 1964. Getting into the car was a tight fit; obviously folks have gotten a lot wider in the last 40 years

Actually the seat got smaller 15 years ago, when they "modernized" her.

...which doesn't mean folk haven't gotten wider...they have.

The rides' seats get smaller while the peoples' seats get bigger. But I will show some restraint.

I especially loved this:

"The ride takes all of 17 seconds. The human body wasn't designed to stand more."

And maybe he's right, since two of the three "faster" rides on Earth are typically marked with the infamous RCDB asterisk.

He made some mistakes, but it was written much like the article earlier this year about Kings Island pricing - it was very informal, and personal. Some facts should still be checked, but certainly an interesting read!

It always bothers me when people try to say that CP is a part of the Cleveland area. If CP is in Cleveland, Cincinnati is in Dayton (even though Dayton and Cincy are closer that Cleveland and CP). Other than that, I don't have a problem with that article at all.

MOST people think Kings Island is in Cincinnati!
