If this has been announced before or something then feel free to lock and/or delete this post. No point in announcing something that's old news. I just hadn't seen the full calendar for 2004 yet...

For instance the park is open until midnight more days than last year and the first weekend is 3 full days instead of 2 and a half. Interesting changes...

AndyatUC, yes this has been on the PKI website for quite some time. The reason opening weekend is three days this year, is that it falls on Easter weekend, and that Friday is Good Friday, so a lot of schools are closed that day (with UC being an exception!). Yes, I too noticed the increase in days the park is open until midnight. I also noticed that the park will only be open until 9 on Sundays in October. How are they going to do Fear Fest when the outdoor attractions are only open for about an hour?

Also, has anyone else noticed that all five of the Paramount Parks websites main pages as well as the Parmount Park website`s mainpage has been down since early on Tuesday? As of 12:47 am on Wednesday, they are still down. Could this be the upgrade/modification that Jeff Siebert mentioned on the Boomerang Bay Tour?

Here's what I think on some of the topics you brought up. I think Fearfest is in for a huge change this year due to all of the different issues from the past couple of years. Maybe they won't do it on Sundays at all, maybe they'll change the calendar when the time approaches like last year. Who knows?

Also, I can see the main websites now. I'm not sure what they changed exactly but they're up and running now, 1:00 am Wednesday morning...

Well, I still can`t view PKI`s main page of their website at 9:22am.  It still says down due to scheduled maintenance.  I also can`t visit Carowinds main page of their website.

Are you getting a fresh copy of the site? Are you using IE, Netscape or something else? I know that in IE you can force the browser to get a new copy of the site. Once it loads the "old" page hold down Shift and click Refresh. If that doesn't work then I have no idea...

Also, when I worked at an IT company we would force the site to go down once a week to push out changes. I remember one week the only thing we changed on the entire website was a typo, instead of "the" someone put "teh" on a page. I fixed it and the change went out as scheduled, lol. Always thought that was kinda funny. (smile.gif)
