I was planning to go to the park today at around 5 but just saw on the calander it does not open till 7, but I see people there on the webcam, is it a special operating day, or is it open to the public.

I believe there is a private event at the park this morning/afternoon, and the park does not open to the public until 7...

As always, call the park and ask!

also i called the park and there is no ERT.

there is a private event there today until late afternoon. Was at a meeting there this week and asked when the park opened (was wanting to go this weekend) and they said that Haunt on saturday started at 7.

Another Q. I've never been for Haunt- not really interseted in the haunt attractions- other than Planet Snoopy- is everything else open ride-wise?

Most/All of the coasters and some of the flats are open. It tends to be a good time to go and ride (DB main queue was 5-10 min all night last night.

Wow, I almost got up this morning and headed for the park (1.5 hr drive), I would have never imagined that it wasn't open all day.

This time of year, it is especially important to double check park hours before traveling far to a park. And to do so close to the time to go. Hours even change, sometimes drastically.

Terp, who once visited a closed Kings Dominion...(and it turned out to be one of the Terpster's best trips ever, but that's a story for another place and time)
