tennisgurrl
Hello all, I am new here, and have tried searching around the forum to find an answer to my question, but couldn't quite find anything pertaining to my situation. I live out of state and went to Kings Island yesterday (October 10, 2010) to purchase my $69.99 2011 Gold Pass. This was my first time buying a season pass. I got the voucher for it, including another voucher for a complimentary visit to the park (which I used that day). Well, the line for the processing of the pass was kind of long, so I did not get my pass processed that day. The woman at the ticket booth said I didn't need to get it processed that day, and it was okay to get it done at another time. Well, my question is, does she mean that I need to get it processed before the end of this month (before the end of the 2010 season) or can I get it processed when the park opens up next year (for the 2011 season)? Also, the next time I do visit, can I still show the people at the parking booths my 2011 Gold Pass voucher and get the free parking that comes along with it (assuming my next visit will be next year when the 2011 season starts)? Thanks in advance!
CoastersRZ
As always, the best source of information on matters such as these is to call the park and verify it with the park itself, rather than hopefully getting accurate information on here. However, I will offer my two cents on the subject. You should be able to process your pass with the paperwork next spring. Just be prepared for long lines. In the last few years, they have had season pass processing open a week or two before the park opened to allow people to process their passes prior to the park opening. Not sure if that will continue in 2011 or not. With your second question, again that is a policy that is dependant on KI. Calling them would likely yield the most direct and clear answer. Worst case scenario, is they would make you pay, but then you could take your parking receipt to guest relations and they would likely re-imburse your parking fee. I hope that information helps. tennisgurrl
Thanks a lot for your input! I will call them this weekend I guess when they are open. I will let you know what they say. But, chances are, I won't be running into any long lines since my next visit probably won't be until May or June.
