Zorker
My wife, son, and his girlfriend are planning to visit the park later today. With the gate cost of $50 we obviously want to purchase the online $28 passes online and bring those. However, my son and I plan to also get season passes for 2011, which include 1 day for 2010. My first (dumb) question is this: Is the location of the season pass processing outside the gates, such that we could buy our 2011 passes and then use the single 2010 included day for this evening? I'd hate to be told it can't happen and then be stuck paying the gate price for this evening. My second dumb question is this: Is there a difference between the Howl-O-Fest Saturday ticket and the Halloween Haunt Saturday ticket? Both links have the same price but appear to be separate ticket types? My third dumb question is this: Does anyone have a good feel for how much time I should plan to add for season pass processing? Of course, with two others going who won't be getting season passes I'd like to minimize the time they have to wait for us by arriving at a time when we can get through the process quickly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We're hoping to have a fun evening but would like to take advantage of the available deals. I think I'm done with the dumb questions for now. jcgoble3
Yes, season pass processing is outside the gates, all the way to the left as you approach them. I'm not sure, but I would assume that they are the same. Can't help you with that one; I processed my 2010 pass on a Monday in May, so I was in and out in five minutes. I've got no clue what the lines, if any, are like today. Hope that helps some, and have fun!
pkiboy
Its been over 15 years since I last paid to get in to Kings Island. Right now ur paying the Fall price witch is 27.99 on Sat and 21.99 on Friday Nights. Parking is 10 bucks. If you are planning on Buying a Season pass its 69.99 includes Free parking. 1. Yes the pass processsing center is outside of the park and if you plan on gettign your passes tonight each of you will get a free ticket when you buy your pass good thru oct 31st. 2. Yes there is a difference between a Friday ticket and a sat ticket. Friday ticket is only 21.99 parks only open from 7pm to 1am and Planet Snoppy is not open on Friday nights thats why its cheaper on Fridays vs going on a Sat. Friday nights are better than going on Sat. Sat ticket is 27.99 cuse the entire park is open. 3. I highly doubt there will be a line to process ur pass it takes all of 2 seconds to take ur picture. the lines are longer in the spring vs the Fall. 4. HAVE FUN. Flat Freak
A few other thoughts: When you pay to park, make sure to save your receipt and take it to the ticket window with you. When buying a season pass, they take the parking fee off of your season pass price (if your season pass includes parking, as a gold pass does). Now, since you're buying a 2011 pass but parking in 2010, this may not work, but it can't hurt to try. I would buy my tickets online and get the printed e-ticket to save time at the gate in the morning. Just be sure to hang on to your ticket, because you can then go to the window inside the entrance (to the left next to Keyhole Photo by Skyline Chili), and pay the difference between your ticket price and the gold pass price and get a gold pass ticket. You could then go have your hand stamped and go outside the gate to the season pass office at your convenience (and not inconvenience your other guests). The line at the season pass office is sometimes a few deep right before open. When we renewed our passes this year (upgrade to gold), there were five people in line in front of us, and the wait was about ten minutes. Hendrick
I bought a season pass 3 weeks ago. Used the free ticket the same day. Pass processing took all of 5 minutes, really no wait at all. Enjoy!
lopan
when i went sunday after they closed at 8 ALL of the ticket booths were closed except lost and found. i went to customer relations office and upgraded my pass there for next year. still it seems like they would keep a couple windows open so people leaveing who want a season pass can get one expecially with all the signs advertising it. Burgtoad67
I have a question. I have a 2010 Gold Pass, and am planning on doing the 69.99 upgrade before the end of the month. I also plan on going to the park twice this upcoming weekend. If I upgrade my pass to a 2011 gold Pass, will they not let me in? Edit: forgot to say im doing the online upgrade so I will have the same physical pass, which is why im concerned
The Interpreter
Your upgraded pass continues to allow you admission in 2010. It's only NEW passes that get only one 2010 visit, not renewals...
