Does anyone have an estimate on how crowded it will be on Sunday the 24th?

If it is like today, crowds will be light for the most part. However, expect Planet Snoopy to be somewhat crowded due to Howl O Fest. As always the one wild card is the weather forecast. And don`t forget that Sunday the 24th is the second and final bobble head giveaway to the first 5,000 guests through the gates.

The first bobblehead day was crowded for about an hour. A lot people left after they got a bobblehead. Diamondback's line was at the steps for most of the day.

Yeah, when I was waiting to go in that morning of the bobbleheads and saw how many people were lined up behind me, I jokingly said, I sure hope they walk in

and get their bobbleheads and turn right around and go right back out. Turns out, that is EXACTLY what they did! Maybe, thats what they will do again!

We were there yesterday (the 17th). The weather was perfect. We never waited more than two trains for The Beast, and the last time we rode it was a walk-on. We rode Diamondback 18 times and never had a walk-on except the last two rides (when we got a re-ride), but the wait was rarely more than three trains. Once when someone had a really nasty "protein spill," they stopped the ride for a few minutes so they could clean it out on the brake run. That caused a minor delay and our wait on the next ride was almost 20 minutes. Drop Tower was a walk-on for our two rides. Delirium was a walk-on the first time, a one-ride wait the next. Racer was a one-train wait, but they only had the red side open when we were there.

Planet Snoopy was packed as expected. The Howl-o-Fest area in the picnic grove looked crazy from our perch on the Eiffel Tower.

Just as an FYI, its going to be that way the remainder of the season. The blue trains have been put away for the winter already.

Well, I wouldn`t say put away. They are already undergoing their winter rehab. In fact, if you rode the Red Racer yesterday, you could see the chasis for the Blue Racer Trains sitting off next to one of the maintenance building by Death Row. This gives the maintenance teams a head start on their off season maintenance, which is actually their busy time of the year!

Check the weather the day before or the day of when going to a themepark. Things can or will change.

Thanks guys for all the help. I know all the high or normal capacity rides should all be walk ons but, any idea on the wait for a low capacity ride like Firehawk?

I always say never expect anything less than a half-hour wait.

The park yesterday was literally open game for any ride. The longest I had to wait was for Vortex and Diamondback both because someone puked and they had to clean it out. Firehawk was maybe a 5 minute wait at the most and that is hard to come by. Delirium cycled through with only about 30 people on it several times and Invertigo never had more than a one train wait. I got in my 5 marathon rides on my baby, each one was one cycle at the most.

The Howl-o-Fest area really wasn't that bad even though it did looked packed from a far. I think we waited maybe 10 mintues at the most for the hayride.

I did ride Firehawk to give it a second chance, it was a one cycle wait. After riding it I'm not a big fan of it.
