When did the Star Trek Characters first appear in the park. When did they last appear? Why did they get rid of them? The only place I saw them was Coney Mall. I thought they were cool!

I know , I loved them things, I remember going to kings I sland when I was 7 years old and they were there (That was around 1996) and thats the last time i saw them there.

but i have to admit i hate star Trek!

Jeff Siebert was asked this question back in the fall Boomerang Bay tour. He said there were a few reasons.

1. They were not terribly popular

2. They scared the children

3. It was really time consuming for makeup.
