stephenmayes
How often, if at all, does the Discover Channel/Travel Channel visit the park? Steve
DegenRider
Depends on the attractions. If they do a waterpark one BB may make it early in the list. They may do a coaster one. They usually come in may on a school day or before the park comes.
coasterrz
Whenever they want new footage of a ride at the park. It depends when DC wants a new show and new footage for the show. I don`t think Discovery Channel or the Travel Channel were in the park last year. I know the Travel Channel was at the park in 2002 to film Tomb Raider. PKI Homey
I have said this many times before, but DC needs to do an entire special on PKI or at least Paramount Parks. I mean, Dollywood got an entire episode on it and there's not nearly as much to do. At least as far as rides go.
coasterrz
I would love to see a show similar to the one that Discovery did on Cedar Point a couple of years ago. A complete behind the scenes tour, from the communications department, to maintenance, to live shows, to ride and food operation. I would really enjoy a show like that! I don`t know if they will ever make one though, but it would be very interesting and awesome to watch.
derbeast
The Discovery Channel was at the park last year to film Tombraider and the Travel Channel came to film Delirium. I might have the 2 channels mixed up but I know they were there last year. They also came in 2001 to film Beast and I was there early in the morning when they were filming. I agree if C.P. and D.W. gets a show, then PkI should have one on D.C. or T.C.

SOB_TOM
Hey employees who want a behind the scenes thing of PKI, think of this: Think of all that you do behind the scenes. Now do you really want thousands of people to know about some of the things you do back there?
AZ Kinda Guy
Hey employees who want a behind the scenes thing of PKI, think of this: Think of all that you do behind the scenes. Now do you really want thousands of people to know about some of the things you do back there? Uhmmmm what exactly do you do back there Tom or do we not want to know? Everything I've done "behind the scenes" is fine for public viewing.
drewbari
Did any one see the The Brady Bunch, when they went to PKI, it was on Nick at Night, but they had little pop ups that talked about the park.
coasterrz
I`ve seen the Brady Bunch episode, not the one with the pop-ups however. Its amazing how much the park has changed since that was filmed in 1973. (Its also amazing how much the park has changed since I was born in 1985.) DegenRider
Yeah well Several owners will do that to a place. They will reshape it to fit what they want. Plus times change and peoples tastes do.
