rcs
New arcade and gift shop, too: http://www.herald-di...son-on-Saturday Hope to make it up there later this year. A fun little park, a good way to spend an afternoon.
The Interpreter
The toy store is moving into the old gift shop...and that part isn't done yet. New decals on the Flying Scooters, new paint on the Whip cars, Spider cars refurbished inside and out...regular Coke still 99 cents! Funnel cakes made while you watch, $3.99...$4.99 with topping. Freshly made Pronto Pups (think corndog but made with pancake batter, NOT cornbread batter) $1.89. Little Dipper (and now called that) cars completely refurbished, pretty blue water in the miniature golf course pools...new asphalt in much of the parking lot...parts of Big Dipper retracked... Yes, there's still a lot that needs to be done, but the park looks better than it has in years. Even the trees are starting to grow back...(don't get me started!).... You can tell that the current ownership really cares about the upkeep and improving of the park. Every year they either add a new attraction or make improvements. Year before it was the new mini golf course, last year the Rockin Tug ride and it appears that this year they have concentrated on making alot of improvements to some of the older rides. I have to ask, do they still have the Ferris Wheel? I was told that last year was going to be the last for it and that they were going to remove it over the offseason. The Interpreter
The Ferris Wheel is still there. I will check today to see if it is operating as I cruise by on my way...
