thekidd33 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Here is an interview with Jeff Pike from GCI. When asked if he still visits Kings Island he responds: "They're customers of Great Coasters now, and I still get a little bit of that magic when I go back." Did GCI have a hand in the retracking work done on Beast or have they done other work at the park that I am not aware of? Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 He listens to Lady Gaga while he works?? WIN!!! Quote

BigWhitey Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I was always under the assumption that re-tracking work was done in house by the park itself but I'm not 100%. Anyone know more about this? Certainly an interesting comment, but you would think there would be a non-disclosure policy if any projects were in development.... Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Sometimes park suppliers leak out tidbits parks want leaked. Jeff Pike would never, ever release info without the full consent and\or instruction of the client. He's far too bright for that. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 The park apparently would like you to think so. Or not. Attention is good. Quote
kingsrattler Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Nice find. Thanks. Nothing like hearing something like that, to get the rumor wheel turning. I'll just take it for the grain of salt it is worth, and hope for the best. Quote
Magm&MForce24/7 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I do wonder if it was the re-tracking but they don't show any renovations on any rides at KI on their website, like they do with all their others.... But who knows, maybe they just supplied a part for a coaster, but like kingsrattler said," just take it for the grain of salt it is worth". Quote
