Jasper Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 So me and two of my friends will be heading to the Point tomorrow through Tuesday and I have read their ride policies for people with casts but I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with a cast and attempting to ride all the rides. His cast does not extend past his elbow and barely goes half way up his forearm so I was wondering how this would work out on a majority of the rides. Any help would be appreciated. Quote
PhantomTheater Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Best advice, go to Park Ops in the Coliseum on Kiddy Kingdom side. Quote
TH13TEEN Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 If they are anything like Drop. Then he won't be riding much. Quote
Magm&MForce24/7 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 I just received a cast and have read up on their rider safety guides. Cedar Points says "Guests with casts and braces will be restricted from riding rides where the cast or brace will not fit inside the ride unit or where it will present a hazard to the guest or others. Guests with full arm (elbow restricted) and full leg (knee restricted) casts or braces are restricted from most rides and slides at Cedar Point, Soak City and Castaway Bay." Kings Island is about the same except no one on Diamondback & Drop Tower are permitted to have a cast. I would still contact them before your visit though. Quote
Jasper Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 From researching and looking at the guest policies as well as reading up on people's experiences with a cast, there is a good chance he will be able to ride. I guess we will find out today. Quote
